Leagues Update
The ‘Leagues’ section has been updated (December 2009 for MBA League 2009-10)
Medway Secondary School League

and hopefully the Hundred of Hoo
All schools will play one home and away match in each age group.

Juniors match - Kings
On the 14th Nov 2009 Medway Junior Badminton club played their second match of the season against Kings School, Rochester at the Kings school.
Each team was divided up by age into 2 groups, under 13 and under 19 with 6 people in each group.
Each pair played every opposing pair in the group in a game up to 21 with no setting.
Therefore a total of 9 games were played for each group.
The group results for doubles were:
under 13, Kings 7, MJB 2under 19, Kings 4, MJB 5
Since there was some time left to spare, 8 singles games were played, 4 from each age group. The results for singles were:
under 13, Kings 2 MJB 2under 19, Kings 2 MJB 2.
Once the match was completed we all sat down to the tea that Kings had so kindly arranged for us, Chips, sausages, sandwiches, cakes, tea and cold drinks. The match was played in a friendly manner and everybody seemed to enjoy the friendly rivalry. MJB have invited Kings to a rematch at Castlemaine in January.
