All played their socks off. In the first round the team met a very strong Orpington/NWK team (eventual winners) and lost 9-0. In the second round the opponent was South Foreland, the team picked up the ladies singles and the 2nd mens doubles – final score lost 7-2. In the final round the opponent was North Foreland, three of the rubbers went to 3 ends but the final score was a loss of 9-0.
